About HIMACHAL PRADESH

Himachal Pradesh is situated in the North of India. In West and North is Jammu & Kashmir, in East is Tibet (China), Uttrakhand is in South-East and Punjab in the South-West Border makes the boundary. Its socially and economically developing very slowly. The Population of Himachal Pradesh is 7.5 millions. The State is popularly called as "The State of gods". At present, there are only 0.1% Christians.

Kangra is a close knit community that sits from 2,000 ft. - 13,000 ft. above sea level. It is close to Dharamsala where the Tibetian leader 'Dalai Lama' is in exile. The area is populated by many Tibetens/Monastries. Due to conflicts in the state of Kashmir,tourists from all over the World come to Kangra, and different locations of Himachal Pradesh, for vacations. In 1982, Pr.Timotheus was the fourth Missionary and none dared to come till late 80's. There have been many instances of persecution of Indian Missionaries.

Christians do not choose this location to live due to the amount of resistance to Christianity. Only since early 90's, from time to time Organizations have started sending Missionaries. Some continue to stay but many leave for some other State. We need your prayers and praises  daily to be consistent & continue the work of God. Every child is like a seed sown today will bloom with fruits for His Glory in life.Praise be to God who choose us to be His co-workers in this great venture.

Our Values

Our core value has been to care for the fatherless and the widows, to give hope for the hopeless. We want to give a  future for the children that have been left to fend for themselves on the streets or being abused by the relatives to educate them and make them valuable citizens.

Our mission is to preach the gospel, to bring salvation, hope and love to all humanity.

Each of us on the board have come  from a very different background. We have all been once Hindus not knowing the truth and have been on a path to destruction, troubles, poverty, suicide and emotional traumas. 

Mrs. Anita bahl and Prabha Parmar have been basically raised in children home. Pastor Timotheus [Shashi Kant bahl] was a Hindu, a captain  in the Indian Army who was found by Christ in the dark, isolated prison cell. Read more (in testimony)

Johnson was instantly healed of a wasted, withered left leg due to childhood Osteo-Arthritis. One day his sisters heard few youngsters  mocking him and calling him '' hey lame boy'' [ langada' in hindi] and were grieved. They gathered together in the name of Jesus Christ  and prayed. Johnson was  jumping and running,  giving glory to God.!! Praise The Lord. Our God heals. Read  Acts 3:7

In our search for a living God, who listens to our prayers, heals us, rescued us from the gates of hell. We're found by JESUS CHRIST THE AUTHOR AND FINISHER OF OUR FAITH. We  have  all been brought together through circumstances with a common goal to share the blessings, peace and joy to all.

Zachariah 7:10 says,  "DO NOT OPPRESS THE WIDOW OR THE FATHERLESS, THE STRANGER OR THE POOR. IN YOUR HEARTS DO NOT THINK EVIL OF EACH OTHER".
